Election Tips For Voters




WHAT IS REGISTRATION VOTERS AFFAIR?

Registration voters’ affair is a time frame that has been fixed by Election Commission Malaysia to give the opportunity to the citizens who are eligible to register themselves as voters. Apart from that, existing registered voters who want to change their address also could do so. Selectors who have been registered also are encouraged to check their names in the approved list.

WHY YOU SHOULD REGISTER?

You should register as a voter to sustain your right to vote in an election and to be a responsible citizen.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO REGISTER AS A VOTER?

• Malaysia Citizen
• Aged 21 and above.
• Live in any election area

HOW TO REGISTER?

Come to the registration center
Fill up Form A:
Get your IV Slice to Form A (Do not forget to bring your Identification Card (IC) or JPN 1/9 or JPN 1/11 letter)

WHERE YOU COULD REGISTER?

Some of the places that has been fixed as the registration centers :-
• State Election Office
• Post Office
• Mobile Registration in public places.
